چکیده

The present work discusses the influence of additives, designated as co-adjuvants agents chemical activation, containing nitrogen on their structure, activated carbons (ACs) produced from waste polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and cork by with KOH, at 973 K. used were urea, 2-chloro-4,6-diamino-1,3,5-triazine, (2-hydroxyethyl) urea polyethylenimine. ACs, PET, only KOH presented a porous volume 0.53 cm 3 g−1. activation PET or 2-chloro-4,6-diamino-1,3,5-triazine allows obtaining ACs upper than 0.91 3g−1. same improvement (porous higher 0.93 3g−1) was achieved cork, On all four agents, an increment in content very noticeable. high thermal stability these inferring, that directly connected to array, not retained surface. These successfully tested 4-chloro-2-methyl-phenoxyacetic acid (MCPA) removals aqueous medium, removal percentages ranging 65% solutions 2.50 mmol L−1 100% concentrations lower 0.25 L−1. Five had MCPA adsorption capacity greater 3.7 g,−1 meanwhile, highest value found literature 2.99 g−1 commercial AC-GAB (Spaltro et al., 2018).
